Ralph Breaks The Internet review

Image
When I first saw Wreck It Ralph back in 2012 I was blown away by it's many video game references and cameos and still to this day it is a fantastic animated movie. But now with it's sequel which takes a big leap into the wide open world of the internet can it be just as impressive? well yes and no. Ralph and Vanellope are back and after 6 years of doing their day to day lives inside of the games arcade they decide to go on a big important adventure to save Vanellope's game by getting a new steering wheel for the human players after Ralph accidentally has a hand in breaking the current wheel by attempting to spice up the game for his friend. It's a simple set up that honestly flys by and boy oh boy once our 2 hero's enter the world of the internet it is game on (no pun intended) Inside of the internet you got references at every single corner. I'm not even sure anyone could see them all at once there really is so many. You got Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Buz

The Flash 5x7 : O Come, All Ye Thankful review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Much like last season's 7th episode told the origin of Devoe and how he ended up becoming The Thinker! this episode tells the story of Cicada and how he became the big bad of this season. The episode begins at Central City Hospital where we see Cicada looking over what we think is his daughter but it's later to be revealed that it's actually his sister's child but his sister was called in a meta attack. At the hospital and as he continues to watch her we see Barry enter the hospital looking for Grace's room. Barry is stopped by the doctor who has been helping Cicada and she tells him that both of the young girls parents are dead and that the team at the hospital is all she has left. Barry takes the information and leaves but is continuously suspicious throughout the episode. The doctor tells Cicada to lay off coming to visit Grace but he tells her no way and

Arrow 7x7 : The Sladside Redemption review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it My word what an episode of Arrow. Not only did it only feature the slabside prison and it's surrounding rooms and areas but it also featured some of the best action scenes this season. It begins as Oliver is told that he will be leaving the prison in just a couple of hours in his trade with Diaz. Speaking of Diaz a police escort pulls up outside the prison with Diaz in the back. He gets out and after telling one of the drivers about Oliver being released he agreed to help the criminal mastermind finally settle the score. He has him kill all cops in the immediate area. Back inside and Oliver tells Stanley whom after last week has been outed by The Green Arrow himself. He tells him that he knows it was him who killed that prison guard and that when he gets out he is going to make sure he faces justice. Stanley breaks down and continuously unravels throughout the episode eventua

Legends Of Tomorrow 4x6 : Tender Is the Nate review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Finally after 2 lackluster episodes Legends Of Tomorrow returns to it's (almost best) and while there is still some issues this is a very strong episode into the show's fourth season. It begins at the Time Bureau where Mona who after aiding in last week's attempt to fed the magical creatures gets a full time job at the Time Bureau. She is super awkward at her job and at times can be annoying which does drag this episode down a bit but not enough to derail the whole thing. As Ava shows Mona around we see various prisoners like last week's Werewolf but we also see Nora Dahrk locked up after surrendering herself in last week's episode. Later in the episode as the team is on a mission Ray goes to the Time Bureau in an attempt to send a love letter to Nora. Mona agrees to deliver it for him but she makes a complete mess of the situation and gets herself, Ava and No

Supergirl 4x7 : Rather the Fallen Angel review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it We get team ups a plenty in this week's episode of Supergirl as it begins with the Girl Of Steel herself teaming up with Manchester Black to try and stop more Children Of Liberty from stealing valuables. As the episode goes on and Supergirl works with Manchester more his tactics and actions start to wear thin with Kara and she tells him that they can't work together anymore due to the way he does things. Supergirl's got a certain way of doing things and Manchester is just an all out brute at times. Later as Jonn convinces Kara to give him another chance Supergirl and Manchester team up once more and learn of a place called Shelley Island. Which just so happens to be the base / hideout of the Children Of Liberty and of course Agent Liberty himself.  James Olsen whom after the ending of last week's episode surrendered to the Children Of Liberty is questioned and a

The Flash 5x6 : The Icicle Cometh review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it This week's episode of The Flash is (pun intended) a pretty cold affair. It begins inside Jitters where a woman is seen getting 2 cups of coffee before heading to her car. Little does she know that Cicada is following her and ends up right behind her which we see through her car window. Turns out the girl has some pretty badass razor blade arm meta power and actually ends up hurting Cicada. He does eventually kill her just like he has promised to kill each and every other meta human. Back at Star Labs and after her heroics last week Nora is really growing closer to Iris as the two go on their first mission together with Sherloque Wells. And after getting back online at the ending of last week's episode Cisco tells Caitlin that he has managed to find her father inside a black ops site. Of course it's in the North Pole of all places so Cisco vibes himself Barry and Cait

Arrow 7x6 : Due Process review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Picking up from last week's episode and we see Diaz torturing Anatoli. He mentions how he betrayed his trust and friendship. Which in turn lead to Diaz slaughtering the entire Bratva leaving Anatoli with no friends. No Team Arrow or anyone to save him. Back inside prison and Oliver who is now back on level one continues his normal duties as an inmate. He learns that security has been tightened since he's returned and that the guards aren't on Brick's payroll anymore. Stanley (Oliver's fellow inmate) on the other hand is not doing so well as he is taken to the hole on account of him murdering one of the main guards. He pleads his innocence but is taken to the hole indefinitely.  Laurel and Felicity continue their ongoing partnership to overthrow Diaz. Laurel even goes to visit Oliver and takes photos of him to later present in a case against the courts to rel

Legends Of Tomorrow 4x5 : Tagumo Attacks!!! review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Unfortunately must like last week's episode of Legends Of Tomorrow this week's episode feels similar in the sense of it not being all that great. It starts in Tokyo 1951 where a film crew are filming a movie before a giant octopus's tentacle explodes out of the water. Back on the waverider and Ray & Sara continue to debate over Constantine's condition. Ray comes to the conclusion that John needs magical help so after asking Gideon to look for Nora Dahrk he goes to seek her out and get help. Sara on the other hand gathers Zari, Mick and Charlie who go to Tokyo 1951 to investigate what they think is a magical fugitive. So with a plan in place Zari and Mick pretend to be movie producers from Hollywood to cause a distraction leaving Sara and Charlie access to the find the footage captured of the giant octopus.  Ray finds Nora pretty quickly as she is hiding in p

Supergirl 4x6 : Call to Action review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it This week's episode of Supergirl begins with an alien attack as a couple are seen walking through Midtown park when Children Of Liberty begin their assault. Manchester Black makes his presence known and makes the save before Supergirl herself shows up. As the Children Of Liberty are defeated leaflets begins to fall from the sky. These leaflets are a manifesto from the Agent Of Liberty himself. With hate speech a plenty inside Supergirl and Alex continue to investigate the situation throughout the episode even though they get strict orders to not get involved from Colonel Hayley who tells the Danver sisters that it is not the DEO's priority to subdue these Children Of Liberty. So with the help of Brainiac-5 Alex and Kara continue their research throughout the episode.  It's Thanksgiving in National City and what better way to spend it then with family?? well Kara and

The Flash 5x5 : All Doll'd Up review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it This week's episode of The Flash begins at Star Labs where Barry and Iris talk about how Nora has been distant the past 2 weeks. They are interrupted by a theft alert at Central City art museum. Barry races into action but Nora too answers the call and even goes as far as to turn off Iris's communications. Speaking of Nora she is incredibly annoying throughout a lot of this episode which was so odd since she's been my favorite part of the season so far. Sure what happens to her in the future is horrible but her reactions and attitude towards Barry and Iris especially come off as her being a spoiled brat and it doesn't suit her at all in any way. Her relationship with Iris is really good though besides the attitude changes. Iris's continuous search for answers on why she does what she does in the future and Barry constantly backing her up and reminding her that

Arrow 7x5 : The Demon review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Arrow continues it's strong start to it's 7th season with this episode. It begins as Oliver is gifted with new cuffs from his also new prison guard who turns out to be a real jerk throughout. On level two Oliver's visitation rights are revoked and throughout the episode Felicity, Dinah and Laurel a trio who I never though I'd see working together attempt to fix this issues and expose the head doctor Dr Parker from last week's episode who has been a part of erasing inmates memories on level two. Even going as far as to kill some of them which Oliver can't stand for as you'd expect. What I didn't expect however is him being greeted by Talia Al Ghul who breaks into his cell and offers him a way to get out of prison but he denies the Demon's head's daughter. The two talk throughout the episode and Oliver ends up apologizing about what happened

Legends Of Tomorrow 4x4 : Wet Hot American Bummer review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it For the first time in a long time an episode of DC's Legends Of Tomorrow leaves me feeling a bit underwhelmed after watching it. That isn't to say this is a bad episode far from it but it is lackluster compared to previous episodes. It all begins in a horror movie setting much like Friday The 13th. We see two teenagers about to kiss beside a lake when a monster jumps out and runs towards them before it's stopped by Ava and Sara who are actually watching a horror movie named SWAMP THAAAANG a clear and hilarious reference to the DC Comics character of the same name. Speaking of Swamp Thing this isn't the only time he is referenced as later on board the waverider Constantine mentions knowing a Swamp Thing but the never be anywhere near a lake in Maine. And Maine is the setting for the majority of this episode as the legends investigate what has been causing magical p

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms review

Image
Disney continues it's live action reimagining of it's classic stories with The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Following the story of the Stahlbaum family after the passing of their mother the 3 children and their father struggle to come to grips with the loss and the impact it's had on their family as a whole. Much like Alice In Wonderland this movie follows a young curious girl with an appetite for adventure. And that girl is named Clara who is played by Mackenzie Foy. The story revolves around her and her struggles with losing her mother. When Christmas approaches her and her family go to a ball to keep up appearances and it is from here where the movie really begins. After being left an egg with no way to open it by her late mother Clara goes to ask her godfather about the problem but even he is dumbfounded by it. As everyone at the ball is presented with gifts Clara mysteriously stumbles into another world. One that is visually stunning and this is where she learns

Supergirl 4x5 : Parasite Lost review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it This week's episode of Supergirl begins a top a building after Kara seemingly in one day helped an outdoor garden bloom. She is joined by all her friends and family as they share a nice day out with a couple of drinks. Speaking of drinks Brainiac-5 gets drunk after mistaking the drinks for vegetable juice which was funny. Kara is congratulated by everyone on landing an interview with a spiritual healer of aliens named Amadei who hasn't given an interview in over 20 years. As Kara and her assistant go to visit him they are treated to one of his miracles up close as he heals a boy in a wheelchair. He aids him by helping him to walk again much to the disbelief of his mom. Kara interviews him and finds out that while he can heal aliens he can't heal humans yet but one day he hopes to heal the human heart.  Back at the DEO and Alex is greeted by her new superior colonel

Arrow 7x4 : Level Two review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Continuing on from last week as we see Oliver who is now on Level Two of the prison after his antics at the end of the last week's episode. He is greeted by a doctor who continuously continues him throughout the episode much to Oliver's annoyance. Oliver who by this point is in just a room with no food or water slowly begins to lose his mind a little as the doctor's questions bring up past memories for both Oliver and the viewer. As he questions Oliver about just what happened all those years on Lian Yu he digs his heels into Oliver further as he blames Oliver's father for what he has gone through the past number of years. He tells him that his father brought all his problems upon his son without really thinking about his son. He put his entire son's future in doubt and as we know what became of Oliver's future he kind of has a point throughout.  Felicit

Legends Of Tomorrow 4x3 : Dancing Queen review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Yes you guessed it. Another week and yet another amazing and entertaining episode of Legends Of Tomorrow which this week begins in 1977 London where The Queen who we see rocking out with a band is deemed insane as she moons the crowd leading to her being institutionalized. With anarchy rules in the UK it's up to the legends to find out what magical creature has caused this all to happen. Constantine thinks it's a leprechaun while everyone else is not so convinced. So with a plan to get close to the band that The Queen was rocking out with named The Smell the legends set out for 1977 London. It eventually falls to Ray to be on the inside and he does as you'd imagine in some hilarious ways. Given that one of the band members has an Irish accent Constantine suggests Ray throw grains of rice onto the ground to see what would happen but nothing does leaving John's lepr

Supergirl 4x4 : Ahisma review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Picking up from last week's episode which ended as Kara was placed in a protective suit to help her stabilize given that the air is full of kryptonite after Otis and Mercy graves dispersed Lena Luthor's device into the atmosphere we see that Kara is still very much suffering from the effects of the kryptonite. Jonn's intensity really reaches high levels throughout the episode also as he feels like Kara is in this situation because he refused to help her fight against the Grave siblings. Him and Alex have a conversation in the DEO hallway where Jonn mentions how he will never live up to his father's name as he is constantly dealing with angry and frustration issues. This is even shown as he tries to communicate through his telepathic powers with Fiona. The woman from earlier in the season who was the head of an a group where aliens could go and talk. As Jonn goes t
