              Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Another week and yet another stellar episode of Stargirl. Beginning with Rick Tyler who gets a visit from his teacher who offers her apology to him for accusing him of cheating on his school work. She offers him advice about college but gets interrupted by Rick's uncle who tells her to get lost. He throws the flyers given to Rick into the air as he heads back inside drinking a beer. Rick picks up the flyers and heads deep into the woods with a bag of apples. Like we saw earlier this season Rick has been feeding something, or someone within the woods and it turns out to not surprisingly be Solomon Grundy. When he arrives Rick lets out a string of emotional words and comes across as extremely fed up with everything. He does everything but gets nothing in return he says as Grundy appears as the two share a moment together a bit later on. Back at the Whitmore home and

Supergirl sure has picked up the pace lately and had some good episodes and this weeks episode is no different infact in some aspects it's even more fun than the past couple of weeks. Beginning with the search for the Courage Totem Nyxly learns that said totem is to be placed in National City's museum. While Nyxly puts her plan into motion Supergirl along with a newly returned Lena head to the Fortress of Solitude to learn more about the totems from a hologram of a Kryptonian Witch. The witch mentions just how dangerous the totems are and points out some steps. The totems have to be collected in order starting with the Courage Totem. Once collected whoever wields them has to go through a gauntlet which ties in heavily to this episode. The final thing she says is that once all totems are together they're extremely powerful and will lead to nothing but destru

After a season best episode last week Stargirl has a pretty tough task following it up this week. Will it be just as good?? the episode begins with Yolanda whom this episode heavily focuses on. We see her inside a church at confession. She talks about the devil and how he is real. She also mentions how if she kills the devil will that make her a bad person?? the priest gets alarmed by this of course and calls Yolanda's mother who we see a bit later on. Back in Blue Valley and the 4th of July is just a day away. The town is decorated in all sorts of patriotic stuff as Cameron asks Courtney if she wants to help him decorate an old spot him and his father used to decorate. Courtney agrees and spends time with him as Yolanda's descent into complete and utter madness is slowly becoming too much for her to handle. This leads into a scene at the diner where Yolanda wo

After last weeks return to form for Supergirl can this weeks episode follow that up with another great episode?? yes. Yes it can! the episode begins as we see what happened to the surrounding residents when the building that Nyxly destroyed 2 weeks ago. Kelly gets a phone call from Joey who is with one of his friends when the building collapses with a blue magic surrounding the building before collapsing to nothing but rubble and dust. Dust that affects not only Joey but various other people including the Council Woman from a few episodes back. The same council woman who wanted the building to be changed up anyways so it comes as quite a delight for her when it's destroyed. She shows up at the hospital where Kelly and Orlando are with Joey. She arrives on a stretcher and comes off as a good doer but really she's just in it for herself. It turns out that she is

This weeks episode of Stargirl very well may be the greatest episode of not just this season but the entire shows run thus far. It had everything from high school feuds to nightmare fuel to funny and emotional moments. The episode begins as we see members of the new ISA confronting members of the JSA. We see the new Fiddler confront Yolanda at the diner where she is working. We also see Artemis confronting Beth outside her fathers workplace. They know who the JSA are and that they're responsible for their own parents death and jail time. We're soon back at Blue Valley high where last week all hell broke loose when it came to Eclipso. We see Beth and Courtney looking through the destruction which consists of paintings and other various things. Finally a really good episode of Supergirl after what felt like a couple of weeks of not bad episodes per say but just really quite bland ones. The episode takes off right where last weeks ended just as Supergirl called out to Mister Mxyzptlk for help with Nxyly who had trapped her in ice rendering her helpless. The magical imp arrives and fights off Nxyly but even he struggles against her stating things like how she tried to destroy the fifth dimension and how he was there when she was imprisoned in the first place. He does manage to free Supergirl who within an instant flies them both off high into the sky landing back at the team's HQ. There we learn a lot from Mister Mxyzptlk. He tells of Nxyly's true plan which is to gain control of an all powerful stone that has the power to control literally anything. There is a couple of draw backs however and they incl

Beginning 10 years in the past we see a young Cindy waking up in a panic as she can hear her father calling out to her. Her mom enters the room and says he will never find them but in the darkness of the room we see Dragon King in the shadows as he closes in on Cindy as we hear screams. We're soon back in modern day Blue Valley as Pat catches Courtney arriving home from yet another nightly patrol. She tells him that she was out looking for The Shade as she wanted to ask for help from him. While The Shade is a bad guy Eclipso is pure evil she says. Pat although angry with Courtney does have an idea of the Black Diamond and where it is. All but Blue Valley is experiencing tremendous weather. This ties into whenever Eclipso is near only darkness and thunderstorms emerge. This means he

              Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. This weeks episode of Supergirl is a direct follow up to last weeks. The episode begins as Nyxly leads Nia out of the dream world and back into the land of the living. Now last week we saw that Nia agreed to a deal with Nyxly which included bringing her mom back for 24 hours and in return Nyxly will be able to go home. But as you know never trust a fifth dimensional imp as almost instantly Nyxly goes back on some terms of their agreement. Instead of giving Nia a perfect 24 hours with her mom instead she confines her to her home for a 24 hour period with no way of getting word to anybody outside. She is bound by a magical force which is very strong. As for Nyxly she loses her power after draining it all bringing Nia's mom back from the dead for a day. She leaves Nia's home powerless but with evil intentions in mind. Nia's mom tells her that she has unleashed

The season finale of Legends of Tomorrow's sixth season has come and gone and with it we had to say goodbye to two legends and an ending that may have just literally blown season 7 wide open. The episode begins aboard the waverider where we see that Mick is actually okay after the explosion from last week. He's charred up but other than that he is okay and his babies are okay also. We learn that the Legends are stranded in 1925 Texas thanks to Bishop who not only has taken Gideon offline but he also ups and takes Kayla's ship. Back aboard the main deck room and Zari informs everyone that John Constantine is dead. Not believing what they're hearing the Legends question this but it is true. Zari even gives Behrad the last remaining remnants of the Fountain of Imperium which is now just a mushroom. Behrad takes it and examines it later coming to the conclu

  Introducing Shang-Chi Marvel's newest addition to the ever growing and expanding MCU. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is an absolute epic compiled of intense and amazing action, gorgeous visuals and a deep down theme all about family, leaving the ones you love behind and ultimately finding hope to be the best version of yourself. There's a lot to get through in this movie so let's dig right in. Shang-Chi stars Simu Liu and right off the bat he is incredibly likable and as the movies goes on he just gets more and more likable to the point where you'll be willing to get behind him and want him to succeed. The rest of the cast do a stand up job too including Awkwafina and more. Side note keep an eye out for some truly great cameos that tie into previous MCU movies and heroes.  Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings story follows the mysterious and mythical Ten Rings. 10 powerful rings that when wield by someone grant them eternal life and immense power. Stargirl returns for another round and this weeks episode begins with Artemis whom we see visiting her parents in prison. Her parents who are Sportsmaster and Tigress respectively. Artemis talks to her mom and dad about how the food she gets in summer school is nowhere near the standard of what she is used to. She also mentions that she has a football game soon and is pretty bummed that they will not be in attendance. Artemis is soon forced to leave the prison by the security guard and this leads right into the title card. The episode opens up with Beth who is seen still working on her goggles but to no real avail. She does however find a file on Eclipso from the JSA file database with confidential highlighted over it. After last weeks return can this weeks episode of Supergirl continue a good reign of form as a mere 10-11 episodes now remain of this show which is just crazy and surreal to even think of. The episode begins inside of Nia's dream world. At the end of last weeks episode we saw Nia wake up and call out the name of Nyxly who we know made it back with Supergirl and co from the Phantom Zone. Inside of Nia's dream she is inside of a forest like area and sees her mom off in the distance with an owl on her arm. She attempts to get closer but ends up getting whisked away by Nyxlys magic whom we see lingering in the background. Back in the real world of National City and at Cat.Co we see that Andrea is still heavily intent on getting interviews, and all other forms of media relating to the 'Superfriends' which is Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Brainiac-5, Dreamer
