Legends Of Tomorrow 4x3 : Dancing Queen review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it

Yes you guessed it. Another week and yet another amazing and entertaining episode of Legends Of Tomorrow which this week begins in 1977 London where The Queen who we see rocking out with a band is deemed insane as she moons the crowd leading to her being institutionalized. With anarchy rules in the UK it's up to the legends to find out what magical creature has caused this all to happen. Constantine thinks it's a leprechaun while everyone else is not so convinced. So with a plan to get close to the band that The Queen was rocking out with named The Smell the legends set out for 1977 London. It eventually falls to Ray to be on the inside and he does as you'd imagine in some hilarious ways. Given that one of the band members has an Irish accent Constantine suggests Ray throw grains of rice onto the ground to see what would happen but nothing does leaving John's leprechaun idea out of the picture. Ray however does end up growing closer to the band as he does various tasks for them like stealing one of the Queen's royal corgi's and getting a tattoo assuring his place within the group.

More on Constantine now and as Ray deals with the band we see John in a bar in Liverpool where he talks to a woman behind the bar. This is when Zari walks in and we find out that the woman John is actually talking to is his mom. Of course she doesn't know that she is talking to her son as she died during child birth. John's father is also in this bar and as he tries to kick him right in the bo**cks time stops and reverts him onto the floor because doing so would render Constantine lifeless as his dad wouldn't well..you know! I love the interaction him and Zari share throughout the episode as it felt incredibly real and well acted out. Sure there was some jokes but it all blended well together. Speaking of blending well together Charlie who is the leader of the band The Smell is found out to be the cause of the Queen's antics as she is a shape shifter who can take on anyone's form. Given that she took on The Queen's form it is her fault of the on going problems within the UK. Ray who we all know by now has a massive heart succumbs to Charlie's charms and the two hit it off but that's not before the legends arrive in an attempt to send Charlie to hell. Ray doesn't want this however and just as Zari is about to help Constantine send her to hell Charlie morphs into all the legends one by one telling them that they are no better than she is. She eventually ends up changing into Amaya but not before Constantine casts a spell locking her in place as the woman we know as Vixen.
The episode ends back on board the wave rider with Charlie apprehended and Ray and Mick sharing a conversation. There was a whole lot more going on in this episode also like Nate and Gary's antics as the newly named time bros and Constantine's family reunion of sorts like I mentioned. Overall the episode itself was in true legends fashion just fantastic. This show has been hitting every note spot on for a long time now and is easily the best superhero show (in my opinion) by far on TV. This is a show that is funny, energetic, action packed and full of plenty emotional moments to boot. I constantly look forward to the next adventure and right now that feeling is more alive than ever. What a ride legends I thank you!
