The mid season finale of Batwoman has come and gone and with it we got the true big bad, Poison Mary and a whole lot of family tension. The episode begins as Ryan and Marquis meet up to seemingly talk about working together to overthrow their mother Jada Jet. Things take a turn for the worst for Marquis however it turns out that all this was just a ruse to get him into custody. Jada thanks Ryan and says that she will help her with her problem which I will talk about a bit later. We're soon back with Mary and Alice whom we saw leave together at the end of last week. Mary is herself now given it is at night and not only has she gotten rid of her phone so that she and Alice can't be traced but she now also has a shoot on sight alert against her.  Back with Ryan and her mom now and the thing Ryan wants in return for helping bring in Marquis is an antidote for Mary

The mid season finale of Legends of Tomorrow has come and gone and with it we get a look at what is to come, time travel and the first time I've genuinely liked the Bishop character. The episode begins with the before mentioned Bishop whom after accidentally time traveling with the Legends at the end of last weeks episode is shocked to meet the Legends in person. He seems excited to meet them for sure but after just crash landing in yet another time period they can't really talk at this moment as members of what looks like a war regime are closing in on their location. In short the Legends use Constantine's key on a public ladies toilet to make their escape back to the mansion. It is here where Bishop tells them what he did and how not only is there an evil robotic Bishop somewhere in time the Gideon that he restored to factory settings aboard is now full b

Part 2 of The Flash's Armageddon crossover begins right where last week ended as The Flash revealed his identity to the alien Despero. After being told that he only has a mere 7 days to find out why he causes destruction in the future Despero does fill in Barry on just what exactly makes him completely snap and go all villain on the city. He tells Barry that the following day is the beginning of the end and that once he feels his mind begin to fall and slip he will be there to end him and save the planet. But what causes Barry to break?? he isn't exactly told what who or why but we pretty much find out why in a very short time period. Before we get to the next day. But before we get to the next day back at Star Labs and we see the team talking to Alex on a screen about Despero. Turns out that Kara, J'onn or anyone else has never heard of Despero which makes

After much thought about last weeks episode of Batwoman I feel as if the ending where it was revealed that Ryan's brother Marquis possibly becoming this universe's version of The Joker is not only absurd but it's flat out ridiculous. That being said I'm willing to give it a chance but there is sadly no developments when it comes to Marquis in this episode which was disappointing. The episode opens up as the first victim of a new and seemingly improved Poison Ivy gets found in a shed like area. It's a man named Chris Hayner and he isn't actually dead rather he has been drowned in honey which has lead to bees covering him, stinging him all over. Renee Montoya arrives and takes a sample from the crime scene. She soon pays Ryan and Alice a visit at the bat-cave where Alice plays coy about what is going on. After last weeks episode that introduced Matt Ryan's new character Dr Gwen Davies can this weeks episode improve upon last weeks episode that while good just felt like there was something missing. The episode opens up in the future as we after a short break return to Bishop and find out that not only has he constructed his very own waverider but he has installed Gideon on board. This Gideon is a far cry from the Gideon with the Legends as this Gideon AI is compact, intelligent and heavily wants to protect the timeline at all costs. It's much like her original design before Rip Hunter implanted a protocol in her mainframe. Bishop soon brings his clone of Ava on board the waverider and declares himself a Time Master. He swears by an oath given by Gideon as he is now not only a Time Master but also Captain of the waverider. More on Bishop a bit later as soon after

The Flash for it's Eight season and it begins with not only a big five part crossover but it begins with quite a stellar episode that in my opinion was the best episode in quite some time. The episode begins as we're shown Central City in the year 2031. The scene is narrated by someone as we see the city in absolute chaos. This person turns out later to be none other than the big bad of this crossover Despero. With the city in pure chaos and destruction did he cause this? or is something else at play? we're soon back in present day and see Barry and Caitlin going for a coffee at Jitters together. Just as they sit down and after Caitlin says that she is ready to start dating again The Flash gets called into action as a train disaster is imminent. This weeks episode of Batwoman not only features the horror like villain of Professor Pyg but also a big narrative twist when it comes to Marquis Jet brother of Ryan Wilder. The episode begins as we see Sophie babysitting Alice who is still on work leave from Arkham. Batwoman soon shows up and says that Alice needs to get dressed as a dead body has been found. They soon find a dead body strung up in an empty room. Renee Montoya seems to think that the binding used to tie up the body is the whip of Catwoman. Both Batwoman and Alice later are unconvinced as it's not nearly strong enough to the whip of one Selina Kyle. We're soon back at Wayne Enterprises as Luke informs Ryan that the company is in the red for the very first time after what happened in last weeks episode. Ryan assures him that she will fix it as later she has a dinner date with her mom to discuss

This weeks episode of Legends of Tomorrow introduces us to the man who invented time travel. Named Dr Gwen Davies and played by none other than Matt Ryan who was Constantine all along just how can crucial is this character and is he any good? the episode begins as the Legends finally arrive in New York thanks to Gary who went ahead on a train and used Constantine's key to let the rest of the gang into New York. All it took was 4 episodes but finally we're here and Dr Gwen Davies is the priority. Sara, Ava and Gary look for a way around New York and end up getting into a bit of a scuffle with a hot dog salesman who ends up shooting Sara telling them all that they're outlaws. Sara overcomes her bullet wound given that she is half alien of course and after getting a map of New York she and Gary end up going alone to find Dr Davies. Ava stays behind with everyo

After 6 years it's all come down to this. Let's get into it. The episode opens up with a news report of humanity becoming totally powerless over the totems being constantly used. It's like they're constantly draining the people of the world as Lex and Nyxly continue their fight. We soon see Lena talking to Lillian who tells her about her upbringing..the true version. She tells Lena that she knew of her magical abilities and she stopped her from following in the footsteps of her true mother by placing talismans in her home when Lena was young. She also says that she pushed her into science which is way Lena became who she was. Lena isn't angry about this rather she later says she is at peace because she got closure from Lillian who she announces had passed away soon after. Back at the Tower and Brain

The penultimate episode of Supergirl has come and gone and with the last ever episode right away following this episode can it set up the finale in a good way?? the episode begins where last weeks ended as the entire team arrive at the Tower and find William's lifeless body. His body gets covered up and as everyone is still distraught Lex appears on the screen. It's a recording left behind by him which sees him offering the team a trade offer. Hand over all the totem's they have including the Destiny Totem which they find a bit later. Hand them all over and in return he along with Nyxly will return Esme to Kelly and Alex. He mentions a spot for the trade to happen which is on a bridge which has become a deadzone which means absolutely no powers can be used there. Alex of course is furious at Lex and even mentions wanting to kill him herself in a fit of ange

  Spencer starring Kristen Stewart is a remarkable little movie. Starring Stewart as the Princess of Wales Diana whom married into The Royal Family of England it tells the story of her struggles with the life she had to live and abide by over a Christmas time period. Spencer is a no nonsense story about a woman's struggle living with loneliness and the feeling of not being truly loved. From being told how to dress and eat all the way to having to sit and eat dinner with her cheating husband right across from her. It's all told in a bold and brash yet at some points it's also very tender, soft and almost comforting.  Kristen Stewart is just phenomenal here. Everything from her accent to the way she dresses is picture perfect of the time period and once again she really shows just how good of an actress she really is and quite frankly always has been even if some people care to admit. Spencer is beautifully shot as Diana wonders around the almost empty Royal Family estate. It

  I've always been a big fan of Edgar Wright. From Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz to Baby Driver and the incredible Scott Pilgrim V The World Wright has a unique, versatile film making style that is very rarely matched in my opinion. So with that being said when his latest movie Last Night In Soho was announced I was extremely excited to say the least. Not only did it look like a ghost time travelling story high on neon influences it also featured a stellar young cast including Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie in the lead roles. Last Night In Soho tells the story of a young fashion designer living in the UK with her grandmother. Named Eloise she is played by Thomasin McKenzie who brings such a sweet and innocent nature to Eloise..at first that is as later as the movie goes on everything from her look to her entire mindset warps into something almost unrecognizable. She is utterly outstanding in the role and the same goes for Anya Taylor-Joy who plays swinging sixties gal Sandi

This weeks episode of Batwoman opens up as we see someone literally frozen in place being tested on. They attempt to stand up but crumble as they do with their body completely frozen over. We then see a man stating that they're doing reanimation tests with what is sure to be some sort of Freeze formula. We soon see Ryan and Luke at her apartment as she tells Luke that she has been invited to a major press junket thanks to her brother Marquis. Mary soon enters the room stating that something is really wrong as she spent the night in Gotham Park sleeping on a bench. Oddly enough both Luke and Ryan don't seem to care about this but given Mary's explanation it's understandable. After last weeks 100 episode of Legends of Tomorrow can this weeks episode be a good follow up or will the Legends flounder in 1925 Chicago?? the episode opens up in 1925 Chicago and thanks to some pretty heavy tipping by Gary the Legends are running very low on money. With only 35 dollars remaining and a train to catch not to mention the police hot on the trail of the Bullet Blondes what can the Legends do?? well first things first both Ava and Sara need to ditch the blonde hair and they do so by buying some wigs. They enter a store which sells all manner of stuff. They end up getting some wigs but as the owner is rude to Zari he reluctantly agrees to help them get away from the police who are very close to finding them.
