Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer. It's a tender moment and one that does feel very important for Lois. Back in Smallville

Superman & Lois 3x12 : Injustice review

Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Superman and Lois returns from it's short hiatus and we're finally introduced to this show's version of Lex Luthor. The episode opens up with news of Lex Luthor being released from prison after almost two decades. We see him in prison as he is presented with a letter declaring him a free man. He's about to get out of prison and he has only one person in mind that he wants to see but more on that a bit later. Last time out we saw that Jordan was under the microscope of a fellow classmate after both he and Sarah toppled a car and they were saved by someone. Well now it turns out that the Daily Planet has been informed that a new super-powered person may infact be in Smallville and a story is soon to be published. This leads to the center point of the episode as Jordan brags about this new hero at school in-front of everyone including Sarah who tells Lan

No Hard Feelings review

I managed to see an advanced screening of Jennifer Lawrence's new R Rated comedy movie No Hard Feelings and let me tell you it is a rude, crude and absolutely hilarious with just the right amount of heart and weight to it also. Jennifer Lawrence plays Maddie Barker a young woman who is on the brink of losing her family home unless she can get major capital together. This leads to her answering an ad online from a wealthy couple who want someone to date their intro-verted son before he leaves for College, her reward? a brand new car! Right off the bat No Hard Feelings brought me back to the feeling of true old school R Rated comedies like American Pie and The Hangover. It is very rude and crude like I said earlier but it is also just really funny from beginning to end. The entire theater I was in was cracking up throughout and it's all elevated even more by Jennifer Lawrence who plays her part a little too well. She is a crazy hot piece of a** who plays off her co-star really

The Flash review

Image
After many delays, reshuffle of directors and many other things The Flash finally races onto the big screen for the first time. Right off the bat we're tossed into an action packed set-piece that involves The Flash working alongside his fellow hero's to save Gotham City Hospital which will very fun and a fine tribute to what has come and gone the dialogue here especially by Batman is beyond terrible. Not the ending Ben Affleck deserved as Batman that's for sure, I got Justice League 2017 vibes all over again with the line delivery and over silly tone. Once the prologue is put to rest The Flash really kicks into gear as the story revolves around Family and a son's love for his mother. This in turn leads to Barry Allen going back in time to save his mom from being murdered but by doing so he changes both the past and the present all at once, can he get back home and restore things?? Controversy aside I have to admit that Ezra Miller really is outstanding here as The Fla

Superman & Lois 3x11 : Complications review

Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. The third last episode of Superman and Lois has come and gone and with it we got a whole lot of big time developments happening. The episode begins with Peia, Bruno Mannheim and Matteo. After being given the cure in last weeks episode everything seems to be going well for Peia who seems to not only have her powers under control but she has seemingly gotten even stronger if that is even possible. But it's pretty clear and evident that the cure hasn't exactly worked as Bruno Mannheim had intended but more on that a little bit later. As that is going it is finally the day of Lois Lane's big operation to remove her breasts so that she can be fully rid of cancer. Everyone arrives at the hospital and as they're being told of what is about to be done Jordan begins to panic and rushes out of the room. It turns out that his X-Ray vision power is kicking in and

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse review

Image
Back in 2018 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse released and it was a hugely enjoyable Spider-Man movie that was quite unlike anything that had come before it. So when a sequel was announced and that it was going to be the first of two parts I was both skeptical and excited at the same time but now after seeing Across the Spider-Verse I can say with strong and firm confidence that this is one of if not the greatest Spider-Man movies ever made. It transcends the animation form and is absolutely thrilling from the opening minutes until the very quite tense ending. Sony Animation Studios surely have a massive hit on their hands here and it is well deserved as it's clear the sheer amount of effort and work that went into this movie needs to be rewarded. From it's stylish comic book sleek look to various different dimensions and lots and I do mean LOTS of different Spider-Men (and women) from throughout space and time the love show for the source material is heartwarming to witness
