The Flash 7x15 : Enemy at the Gates review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. So here we are the final stretch of a season of The Flash that has had ups for sure but man has it also had it's many, many downs. Can this Godspeed arc salvage the season before it's too late?? we begin inside of Barry Allen's office. A familiar face is right away seen as Nora West Allen (XS) appears before her father. The two embrace but it's clear this is just a dream Barry is having. We soon see him wake up and immediately call Iris. ''I think we're pregnant'' he says which was a bit of an odd thing to say but given he had just seen his future daughter who seemingly disappeared from the timeline maybe that line isn't so bad after all. Upon rushing home to get samples to test back at Star Labs Barry is pretty giddy throughout major points of the episode here. He avoids Cecil who arrives at his place to remind him about lunch.

Batwoman 2x18 : Power review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Batwoman's second season finale has come and gone and with it we were treated to the introduction of a new hero in Gotham, having to say goodbye to someone very special and a big clue who the villain of season 3 may end up being. The episode begins with Black Mask who has hijacked all TV stations in Gotham allowing him to broadcast to all of the city across all TV stations. As Black Mask is talking about over throwing those in higher powers and the like we see Kate (Circe Sionis) suit up in a batsuit that is infused with Black Mask colors and a mask. It's a really cool design as Kate gears up ready for combat. We hear from Ryan soon after who is writing a letter to Gotham expressing her appreciation for allowing her to be Batwoman thus protecting the city. We're then back with Black Mask and Kate who are seen looking over the various gadgets and weapons tha

Legends Of Tomorrow 6x8 : Stressed Western review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. After the chaos that was last weeks episode of Lv egends of Tomorrow how can this weeks episode follow it all up?? we begin aboard the waverider as everyone is helping Ava properly welcome back Sara to the ship. Ava gets various pieces of food, a passion smoothie and a flower from Nate, Behrad and Zari respectively. She goes to Sara's room whom is seen still in bed stating that it's so much better to wake up here than on a Alien planet. Sara however doesn't seem to have the appetite and instead blurts out to Ava that she is an Alien / Human hybrid. Ava's reaction is to laugh of course but as we know Sara is telling the truth here. We soon find out about the latest Alien that was dropped into the timeline at is in Oklahoma 1891 which just also happens to be the Wild West times in a city named Fist City. But before we're off Constantine is seen corner

Fast and Furious 9 review

Image
The Fast and Furious franchise has never been one to take itself seriously. And for the most part it's worked in its favor with recent entries becoming more and more over the top. So with that being said can F9 actually be any good?? the movie begins with a flashback to that of a young Dominic Toretto along with his dad who is competing in a NASCAR race. It's a pretty standard setup that I won't spoil but it does begin the movie in a fine way. We're into present day soon after as we see Dom, Letty and their adopted son Brian living the retired style life. Past friends soon turn up on their property however with a warning from their boss. A warning that is strong enough to lead Dom and Letty onto a giant world trotting adventure full of chaos and destruction.  The first 30-40 minutes of Fast and Furious 9 has some of the finest action sequences I've seen in recent memory. There's a car and bike chase through a jungle, a literal car leap frog leading to a car be

The Flash 7x14 : Rayo de Luz review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. After last weeks truly terrible episode can The Flash bounce back or will it just continue to sink further and further into the pit of darkness?? the episode begins as we see a returning Ultraviolet attacking her cousin Alegra. It almost immediately cuts to the intro as we see everyone at Star Labs. Barry informs them that he and Iris won't be around for a while as they're still trying to have a baby. Frost won't be around either as she is still off hunting down escaped metas. This leaves Chester, Alegra and Caitlin as the remaining members of Team Flash. This also leads into a pretty heavy Team Flash style episode which is not necessarily a bad thing right off the bat. We're soon at Jitters where we see Alegra meeting with Chester who is intent on getting her to join his game Dungeon and Dragons. They end up getting interrupted by Ultraviolet who after

Superman & Lois 1x11 : A Brief Reminiscence In-Between Cataclysmic Events review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. What a mouthful of an episode title for the eleventh episode of Superman and Lois's first season. With a title as big and long as this episode has can it live up to it all?? and the answer is a strong yes! the episode begins with a young Clark Kent whom we see searching for the Fortress of Solitude. He has a piece of the sun stone in his hand, the same stone that was in his pod when he crash landed on Earth. Getting frustrated with being unable to find the towering Fortress he flings the stone in anger only for it to insert itself into the ground slowly buy surely revealing the Fortress to Clark who ends up getting caught in the various snow imbued debris. He eventually makes his way into the Fortress where he meets the hologram version of his father Jor-El. He tells Clark that his real name is Kal-El and that he is the last son of Krypton a planet that was destroye

Batwoman 2x17 : Kane, Kate review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. The penultimate episode of Batwoman's second season has come and gone and with it we were given plenty of answers to various questions but once the credits began to roll only more questions did arrive. The episode begins as we see Batwoman searching for Kate Kane. She questions a member of Black Mask's security which doesn't exactly go so well. It's not long before Kate is found however and it is at the Hold Up bar where she is seen drinking and hanging out with a gang of other women. Everyone seems so happy to have Kate back but Ryan on the other hand slowly begins to feel less and less wanted / worthy of being Batwoman anymore. This co insides with Sophie showing up to her apartment dressed to the nines hoping to see Kate and Luke going to meet Kate so that he can give her a journal that she used to write various notes and personal messages in. Stuff l

Legends Of Tomorrow 6x7 : Back to the Finale Part II review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. After the revelation at the end of last week's episode of Legends Of Tomorrow that our fierce Captain Sara Lance has been dead since the very first time she met Bishop we learn so much more from this episode so let's get right into it. The episode begins right where last weeks ended as we see a white cold corpse of the original Sara Lance. Bishop fills on both Sara and us the audience on just what happened and how he in fact did clone her. As I suspected in last weeks review Sara did actually die not long after consuming what she thought to be the antidote to her Alien bite given to her by Bishop. It was no antidote instead a primer he says. A primer that allowed him to clone Sara. Bishop has also done a lot more to Sara installing and fusing her human DNA with that of Alien DNA which when bonded together has granted Sara various abilities and also the act of tr

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It Review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. The third movie in the Conjuring trilogy is a case featuring the devil, some nasty tricks and scares. Now known as The Conjuring universe which the original movie began as it spun off plenty of sequels, prequels and the like. This movie is the third entry into the main series that follows Ed and Lorraine Warren a married couple who are experts on all things demonic and paranormal entities. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return as the Warrens as this time around they are tasked with investigating a murder that may in fact be linked to demonic possession. It's a pretty basic premise and set up but much like the other two Conjuring movies it does it's job and works fine.  I myself have only recently see both movies in this series before going to see this final chapter and seeing them all almost together it really opened my eyes to the overall quality of them all.

The Flash 7x13 : Masquerade review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Boy oh boy has The Flash been an unsteady ship this season and once again this episode just did not do anything really special for me. It begins soon after last weeks ended with Cecil who seems normal talking to Joe. He mentions that Kristen Kramer has already become CCPD Captain since he left a few weeks ago. Just how much pull has she? Cecil is pretty much unfazed by everything for the majority of this episode and that is because this isn't Cecil. The real Cecil is inside of a white insane asylum like room crying out for help. So just who is this person? and what was up with the mask we saw last week?? I said my piece in last weeks ending and I was right it is infact the Psycho Pirate but more on that in a bit. Back at Star Labs and we see Chester attempting to revive and redecorate Cisco's lab and other rooms. He runs into Barry and Iris who were having sex m

Superman & Lois 1x10 : O Mother, Where Art Thou? review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Superman and Lois returns once again with a brand new episode and it begins right where last weeks ended with the big reveal that Morgan Edge is in fact Superman's brother from Krypton. Right off the bat we're given a lot more clear information on just who Morgan Edge is. His name is Tal-Ro and both he and Kal-El share the same mother in Lara Lor-Van. After having a child with Zeta-Ro whom was her first husband she seemingly hid it from Kal-El and her second husband Jor-El. Tal-Ro is intent on bringing Krypton back and restoring it to it's glory of all. Even though that means countless lives may be lost in the process. He doesn't really care and even deems himself the first son of Krypton sent to Earth to save the dying planet Krypton. We even see a young Tal-Ro emerge from a ship much like Kal-El once did. However instead of a perfect American life styl

Batwoman 2x16 : Rebirth review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. The third last episode of Batwoman season 2 was most definitely an interesting episode full of great moments and some not so great moments. The episode begins with a man running for his life. He is being targeted by as assassin wielding two swords. He ends up getting stabbed and killed, Batwoman soon shows up and fights off the assassin but just who is it? and what do they want? at the end of last weeks episode we saw Luke Fox awaken from his injuries in the hospital after being given the desert rose miracle cure by Ryan. We see Ryan attempt to talk to Luke this week and he is just really not there at all. The lack of emotion on his face tells a thousand words as he quite frankly blanks Ryan almost. At the end of last weeks episode we saw Alice tell Jacob Kane that Kate is infact alive. Not believing her at first he much believes her now as Kate ends up getting drugged

Legends Of Tomorrow 6x6 : Bishop's Gambit review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. After last weeks season best episode can Legends Of Tomorrow continue it's rich vein of form this season that so far has only seen 1 real bad episode. The episode begins with Sara and Bishop whom the former thought she had killed last week. Well it turns out he is actually cannot be truly killed. He is infact a clone. One of many that he himself managed to create and code. So which he time he dies he is replaced with a clone that houses the very same memories and ideals that he carries. It leads to one question however and that is where is the original Bishop? is he dead? or did he even exist in the first place?? he again asks Sara to join his cause but again she refutes. Leaving her behind in the room we shall return later but moving forward we're show Constantine's house in present day that is just rife with Legends. Nate is playing guitar, Ava is trying t
