A Haunting In Venice review

  Hercule Poirot is back once again. Now semi-retired and the setting in a post World War II Venice he reluctantly agrees to attend a seance at a broken down, decaying and supposedly haunted palazzo but soon he gets thrust into a world of ghost, secrets and shadows as a guest is murdered. Kenneth Bragh returns as the world's most famous detective and like his previous two outings he is the star of the show throughout. He is impeccably dressed from head to toe and goes about his business in such an exquisite manner. Also along for the ride are Michelle Yeoh who plays the Medium performing the seance, Tina Fey as an old friend / colleague of Poirot and Jamie Dornan a former War Hero now turned Doctor.  It's the perfect setting for the perfect murder as visually A Haunting In Venice is very bold and striking from the inner workings of the city to the dark run down house that the majority of the movie takes place in.
