The Flash 4x20 : Therefore She Is review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Therefore She Is. It's quite the nice little nod to the episode Therefore I Am from earlier in the season. And while this episode does share some similar traits like flashbacks of the Devoe's it doesn't quite live up to the name of that episode. That being said it is still enjoyable and the best episode since the show came back from it's break in April.  It begins right away with a flashback as we see both Devoe and his soon to be wife all sitting at a panel in a college talking about various things. Mrs Devoe talks about a number of different things but is soon interrupted by Devoe who tells of his disdain for technology and what it is doing to all of humankind. It's later expanded upon further as the episode goes on which nicely leads to Devoe's current day plan actually being uncovered by Harry and Cecil of all people. He plans on using a number of gadg...

As the mysterious sickness continues to spread throughout the city Kara Winn Jon and Alex go to City Hall the first known place of infection. As everyone is in City Hall Imra shows up outside placing a protective barrier around the building. Kara intervenes and tells her to turn of the force field to which she does. Imra tells Kara that she plans on killing Pestilence once she is identified as it will stop her from becoming the blight in the future and killing millions of people. Avengers Infinity War review

Image
The infinity war to end all infinity wars has arrived and is it worth the wait? the movie the MCU has been building towards for the past 10 years is here and it will definitely please hardcore fans of the MCU but for the more casual movie goers I think it may just be another superhero movie that while is action packed relies way too heavily on silly jokes and pace grinding moments. The performances here are as you'd expect flawless. All the actors present are well into their roles in the MCU and it shows. Robert Downey Jr is his usually brilliant self as Tony Stark planning to finally wed Pepper Potts it looks like he may be finally settling down.. Benedict Cumberbatch gets to flex his magical muscle a lot more which was great to see, he plays a whole host of magical tricks on both the good guys and the bad guys. Tom Holland is as good as ever as Spiderman. Complete with a completely upgraded Iron Spider get up he really is brilliant in the role. Everyone else is also really g...

Arrow 6x20 : Shifting Allegiances review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it This week's episode begins in Russia as we see 4 people walk out a club during the late hours of the night. Turns out one of the guys is carrying Vertigo on him and this is when the Green Arrow shows up. Shooting the guy right through the elbow scattering his supposed 'friends' in the process. Oliver takes the guy to a big fancy house of some sorts and this is where he lifts Anatoli's ban from the Bratva. His plan? to go see Anatoli and hope he agrees to help him take down Diaz. And go to meet him he does as Anatoli and some of his men are watching a baseball game on TV he goes to get a beer but when he returns they are all knocked out. Oliver appears from the background and tells him that he can return home now that his ban from the Bratva has been lifted. Anatoli of course is having none of this and has Oliver placed in chains. More on this situation later.  R...

The Flash 4x19 : Fury Rogue review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it This week's episode of The Flash may be simple in it's premise and overall narrative but it does offer a lot of insight and hints into the remainder of the season. It begins in the time vault as we see Harry Wells talking more with Gideon. He learns that the use of the thinking cap infused with dark matter has corrupted his brain and soon he will not be able to remember a number of things. Harry really did mess up on this and it shows as later in the episode Cisco wants to make a 2nd thinking cap but right away you can see Harry's reaction to this and how eager is he for Cisco not to go through with it. Harry goes as far to construct the cap but ends up rigging it in a way that it'll overload once on Cisco's head. And without a clean power source anywhere in the area Cisco will have no choice but to concede. And he does for a while that is as he ends up findin...

Supergirl 3x15 : In Search Of Lost Time review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it This week's episode of Supergirl is an emotional one and it begins as we see Samantha who is in Lena Luthor's care. Sam awakens and refuses to believe just what Lena is telling her. Lena shows her newspaper articles of the destruction Reign has caused and continued to cause before Sam came to Lena seeking for her help. Lena knows that Sam is Reign and she doesn't plan on leaving her out of her cell anytime soon. More on this situation later.  The episode really kicks into gear however as everyone is playing charades at Kara's apartment but of course it's short lived as a fight has broken out at the bar everyone frequently visits. There's a genuinely hilarious moment when Kara about to fly off as she usually does refuses to rip open her shirt because as she says 'I like this shirt' it was something small but hilarious to me. At the bar and a telepat...

Arrow 6x19 : The Dragon review

Image
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it The Dragon. Quite the appropriate name for this Ricardo Diaz centered episode. Even the Arrow logo is changed to a Dragon Symbol which was a really nice touch. That being said the episode begins in an orphanage where Diaz is after his father left him. A young Diaz is being bullied in the orphanage by another older kid who sets a picture of Diaz's father on fire and throws the remains into a bin. More on the bully later.  It all begins in Bludhaven however as Diaz and Laurel await the arrival of a member of The Quadrant. The Quadrant are an organization who run all 4 corners of the country hence the name The Quadrant. Diaz meets with the leader of the group's son and he makes him jumps threw plenty of hoops before he can even meet the actual board members. He makes him do some recon on an informant of theirs who has been placed under FBI investigation. Diaz does this but...
