The Drama review

This movie is indeed full of drama as it tells the story of a couple named Charlie and Emma who meet just by chance. While playfully playing a game of telling their two friends the worst thing they've ever dared done Emma and Charlie's entire lives and feelings for one another change when Emma reveals a secret that shakes the very core of her soon to be husband Charlie. Robert Pattinson and Zendaya are brilliant here as a young seemingly extremely happy couple who are soon to be married. It's the very best performance I've seen from Zendaya who plays the role with such grit, determination and is very believable throughout. Robert Pattinson is as good as always in a performance that is quirky and cutesy but grounded too.

Once Emma's big secret is out in the open the tone of the movie shifts tremendously until that moment it is rather quaint and cute playing off the couple's first meeting, first kiss and the like. It changes on a dime and becomes almost an entirely different movie in a lot of ways. The color feels drained, the energy sucked dry it's really well done and character wise their is some let's just say not very nice people here who add fuel to what is an already hot fire. It all comes together in a way that I was not expecting at all.

The Drama is a fascinating movie it truly is. It's full of some real belly laughter moments but also it somehow juggles a really serious issue rather flawlessly. It tip topes back and forth across a very fine line getting the balance just right. Some scenes do feel out of place however and add next to nothing but they do little to take away from the real impact that this movie will have on you once you see it. The Drama brought..well the drama and boy was it a wild ride indeed and not at all what I was expecting.
