Deadpool & Wolverine review

Arise Marvel Jesus. Ryan Reynolds returns as the Merc with a Mouth. The role he was born to play. Some time has passed since we last saw Deadpool but trouble soon comes a knocking once again and this time literally as the TVA arrive on his doorstep. Wade Wilson's timeline is dying and he is the only one to save it right?? well technically no but he takes it upon himself to become the savior of the timeline thus Marvel Jesus is born. Right off the bat Deadpool & Wolverine is much more violent than any other MCU movie probably combined. It's utterly vicious in it's nature with blood and body parts engulffing the screen in true Deadpool opening style.

The title of this movie is a dead giveaway for what is to come sure but what does come is a Logan / Wolverine like any before it. After he and Deadpool are tossed into the void which is basically a garbage dump for unwanted people both powerful and not we get to see a really unique and different take on the character. Before all that we do get a rather hilarious sequence where Deadpool is searching for the 'perfect' Wolverine. It's a perfect setup to what really is a perfect buddy type movie. Hugh Jackman offers so much to this role and here he gets to play a more down beat alcohol drinking type of X-Man. He even wears the comic accurate suit for the first time cowl included.

Deadpool & Wolverine if fantastic. It comes togethere beautifully and is absolutely hilarious. You can shake a stick and hit a cameo but unlike other MCU movies barring Endgame and No Way Home here it just really worked. Nothing feels forced at all. Ryan Reynolds steals the show as you can imagine but Jackman really keeps up the pace is what is arguably one of my favorite Marvel movies of all time. Period. Now go do yourself a favor and see this on the biggest screen possible. Let's F**king GO!
