Superman and Lois 4x4 : A Perfectly Good Wedding review

Be warned there will be SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.

Superman lives! at the end of last weeks episode we saw Superman open his eyes after receiving Sam Lane's Superman DNA infused heart. We see Lois at her father's grave only for Clark Kent to return home leading to a big embrace between him, Lois and the boys. With everyone overjoyed that Clark / Superman is back from the dead it does begin to show that he isn't quite the same Superman that he once was, after all he now houses the heart of a 60 year old man albeit infused with some Kryptonian DNA it just isn't the same and it shows when Clark brings Johnathan to do some flight training. Clark starts to feel himself slow down thus leading to him crashing into the snow and ice below. It's evident that he is nowhere near strong enough at least not yet.

For the first time this season we see Chrissy and Kyle in the fold and with their wedding day fast approaching Chrissy tells Kyle that she barely speaks with her mom to which Kyle says he will do everything to win her over. The wedding day is a day away when the location they had booked at a courthouse if flooded. This leads to Lois offering to have the wedding at the Kent family barn to which Chrissy agrees but on one thing. Lois is her maid of honor, Lois agrees and thus the wedding preparation is underway. The barn is dressed to the nines as Clark shows it off to Kyle who asks him to be his super best man so to speak. Clark agrees of course as the time of the wedding draws nearer and nearer not only does Chrissy end up freaking out she ends up running away due to the stress of it all including her mom who after meeting with Kyle isn't quite sold that he actually loves her. Chrissy does end up returning later but for the time being the wedding is off and they're just going to focus on their relationship as is and with the baby coming it's a pretty sound decision really.

The episode draws to a close as Jordan hears Gretchen (Woman who kidnapped Sam Lane) in Metropolis. She is inside a burning building after Lex tried to kill her or at least that's what she says when Johnathan not Jordan arrives to try and save her. It's his first mission all alone but it goes up in smoke literally when another Lex henchmen arrives. Brandishing two fire gauntlets it's not looking good for Johathan and Gretchen that is until Superman arrives literally walking through the flames of the gauntlets to stop the henchmen. Did he just reveal himself to the world again?? back at the barn and everyone is seen having a good time with music, food and just an overall sense of joy in the room. The episode ends with two things. Firstly Jordan offers Johnathan his Superboy costume as for the time being he doesn't want nor need it. The second thing is with Lois and Clark in their bedroom, with everyone gone seperate ways after the get together they're alone thus they intend to spend the night together for the first time in a pretty long time, however as Clark dismisses the pings of  Lois and his's phones we see on said phones that Superman Lives! it seems that Superman has been outed as having returned and with that out in the open it won't be long before Lex Luthor will once again send Doomsday Supermans way. This episode was great. Definitely the weakest thus far but it was still really, really good. This show is and has been on a roll and season 4 is proving to be yet another fantastic ride. Long may it continue, roll on episode 5!
