Cocaine Bear review

 

Cocaine Bear might very well be the most absurdly ridiculous movie title of 2023 already and it's only February. With that being said this movie is a lot more true than you might think or at least that is what you are led to think when it comes to sources from Wikipedia. Set in 1985 Cocaine Bear tells the story of a female bear who begins to take Cocaine which was supposed to be travelling to some dodgy people. The person on-board the plane decided to jump off and in doing so he took some Cocaine with him. His plan ended in his death as his parachute fails to open and thousands and thousands of pounds of the drug land in a wooded forest area which just so happens to be where the titular Bear comes across it. 


It's a simple setup and it works believe it or not. Cocaine Bear is ridiculously entertaining from beginning to end featuring a whole bunch of grizzly deaths, Cocaine infused bursts of rage and a pretty visceral chase scene involving 2 Paramedics, a Park Ranger and an Ambulance. It is the best scene of the movie and features some of the most bloody, manic moments found throughout. Character wise is the only real let-down here as overall they don't really offer much and you don't find yourself rooting for their success which is a shame. From drug runners and their boss, to cops and a mom looking for her daughter all their stories intertwine into a mildly satisfying ending.


Cocaine Bear does exactly what it says on the tin. It's weird, it's wild and it is easily one of the most entertaining movies this year so far. Like the Bear just leave your brain behind and reveal in the utter bonkers nonsense and you'll have a blast!

Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
