Ready or Not review



Board games, a crazed family, a newlywed couple and oodles of fun. Ready or Not follows the newly wed couple of Grace and Alex. Alex who is the son of a generational line of game masters named the Le Domas family. A family rich in both money and blood. At the beginning of the movie we're introduced to Grace and Alex and together they share a very special wedding day..that is it until later that evening. As per tradition in the Le Domas family whenever somebody new joins the family they are supposed to play a game at midnight. This could be any game as we're told it's all by chance. Previous players got chess, checkers etc. But there is one card that is not the kind of game you would want to play, especially with your in-laws and that is Hide & Seek. Of course Grace pulls that card and it's right from here where the movie just tosses the rule book out the window and becomes one of the most entertaining, funny and brilliant horror mysteries of the year. 
First off there is Samara Weaving who plays Grace and she is just terrific. She takes quite a battering throughout and manages to actually want you to want her to kill! kill! kill! she also showcases a more softer side at times and overall she's just terrific like I said. The rest of the cast do a good job also in making you really hate them in pursuit of what they are doing as to be honest it's all quite messed up especially when it come to family. I also really liked how each family member is just different enough from one another. Ready or Not is a thrill ride unlike anything you'll see all year as it fuses comedy, murder, mystery and horror all together in such a unique way. To be honest this shouldn't work as well as it does but boy does it all come together in such a creepy way at certain points.

 Ready or Not isn't the best movie of 2019 by any means but it is widely entertaining. Samara Weaving is just brilliant in her role as she makes you genuinely care for her character. The pacing is top notch and overall it's an experience you won't be forgetting anytime soon. Now..ready or not because here I come!

Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
