Avengers Endgame review


The endgame has arrived. Over 20+ movies have been leading to this moment. Avengers Endgame is the epic culmination of years and years of hard work to bring so many different and unique characters to life and boy does it pay off. Taking place not long after Infinity War and that now infamous finger snap that wiped out over half the world's population. The movie begins with our heroes all for the most part separated. Enter Captain Marvel then who isn't in the movie nearly as much as I thought she would be and she vows to kill Thanos. Tony Stark who had been working with Nebula while drifting in space returns to Earth and right away his relationship with Steve Rogers is pushed to the limit. The cast here are as you'd expect. On form. They never miss a beat really and while some jokes are really gyrating and not funny for the most part Avengers Endgame is an amazing experience. One that will make you laugh, make you scream, make you jump for joy and even make you cry.
The Mad Titan himself Thanos makes his return but definitely not in a way you'd think at first. I don't want to really get into much in terms of actual story here as MCU fans including myself have been waiting for this movie for so long that you really just need to go see it for yourself. I will say though that there is a variety of locations on offer here and plenty of throwbacks to previous movies. Special mention must go to Iron Man / Tony Stark however who practically steals the show throughout in what is truly a marvelous performance from Robert Downey Jr. The action sequences are in true MCU style overly stuffed with CGI a plenty but they look fine and are tension filled. The third act alone is something to behold that literally gave me goosebumps.

Avengers Endgame has come and gone and with it I can only really sum it up with one word. Friendship. It won't disappoint really hardcore MCU fans and is as good an action / blockbuster movie that you'll see all year long. It's witty, fast paced and brings to a close not only an incredible era for Marvel cinema but an entire saga as a whole. Avengers Endgame is a special movie with a lot of heart and guts.

Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
