Arrow 6x14 : Collision Course

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it

Team Arrow returns with what I'd like to call a two sided coin of an episode. The episode begins as City Hall as Oliver is surrounded by members of emergency services, school officials and other countless Star City needs. He tells them that he'll have the money that Cayden James had taken from the city back into the City's funds within 48 hours. Without it the city will be on the verge of collapse. But of course Oliver is too late as the funds have already been removed by none other than Laurel in disguise. And this is where the episode just got flat out annoying for me. The 2nd team of Dinah Rene and Curtis duke it out with Oliver Felicity and Diggle in some infuriating ways. Dinah is borderline annoying in this episode and made me think why are these two teams even fighting? I mean they are after the same goal at the end of the day. But Dinah wants revenge for Vince as it is told over and over again which is understandable but killing someone for revenge is never the answer as Oliver continues to hit home.
At the 2nd team's bunker is where the episode really begins to heat up again as Rene plants an audio bug on Oliver as him John and Felicity locate Quentin who has been looking after Laurel ever since she got shot a few weeks back. Not long after they show up the 2nd team also shows up and a mass brawl breaks out between them. The 2nd team even cheating to get the upper hand on the others. Curtis hacks into John's implant in his arm and causes damage leaving him pretty useless in the fight. Curtis manages to talk Dinah around in to not killing Laurel who manages to escape into the night. The episode ends as Laurel who is still badly injured runs into a random guy and asks him for help. If it seems like I wasn't interested in this episode it's because well..I wasn't. The first half annoyed me to no end and the second half although really fast paced wasn't enough to make up for what was a lackluster first 20 minutes. Not an ideal episode for Arrow to come back to but it is good to have the team back again. Next time try shooting nearer the bulls eye eh Oliver?
