The Flash 4x14 : Subject 9 review


Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it

 The Flash returns from it's 3 week break with another enjoyable entry into what has been an interesting season to say the least. The episode begins as Barry makes his way back into CCPD only for Captain Singh to tell him that he has been asked to take a leave of absence with immediate effect as some people don't believe that Clifford Devoe is actually alive and well. So Barry leaves his position in CCPD. Back at Star Labs and the team talk about the remaining 4 meta's only for Ralph to find a CD with the name Izzy Bowan on it. Cisco uses his powers and locates Izzy playing songs from her forthcoming album at a country western bar. So Barry and Ralph go to talk with her but as expected things don't go according to plan and Devoe who is still in Hazard's body shows up only to actually be weakened by Izzy Bowan's powers. It's learned that she as the power to control soundwaves and manipulate it through her music and fiddle. This leads to her being called The Fiddler later in the episode by Devoe. Her character is actually really likable to the point where Ralph even begins to develop some sort of connection and feelings towards her. 

 Onto Harry Wells now and this is the episode where he actually creates the device to stop Devoe that Savitar mentioned in the season 3 finale. Barry and Irir's face when Harry tells the team about it in the medical bay was a really good and they all finally get a glimmer of hope in stopping Devoe. So it's off to try and attach the device to Devoe's head to manipulate his mind and eventually stop him. But of course things don't go as planned and the device is somehow hacked by Devoe using Kilgor's powers even though Harry said it can't be hacked. This causes Barry and Ralph to be temporarily defeated leading Devoe to once again transfer his mind into Izzy's and become her. Ralph's reaction is that of genuine defeat and he leaves to go to his PI office. 
The episode actually ends in the PI office as Barry and Ralph have a talk and come to the agreement that they have to stop Devoe once and for all. Ralph even offers Barry a job in becoming his very own Private Investigator while on absent leave from CCPD which was nice. The friendship they share is really getting good and I'm liking it. This was a fun episode for sure but nowhere near the best this season. With that being said it is really good to have Team Flash back once again. Hang in there Ralph I'm sure you'll get the girl someday!

Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. He says various villains have taken over their own terrirtorys for example The Penguin has taken over Gotham City Hall, Scarecrow has his own little area, Mr Freeze and Firefly are at war with one ano...

Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
