Legends Of Tomorrow 3x12 : The Curse Of The Earth Totem review


Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it

 After last weeks brilliant episode it was always going to be hard to follow it up this week but with that being said this week's episode is still an enjoyable venture into pirate times and beyond. The episode begins as right away we're brought into 1717 Bahamas where we see Captain Blackbeard and his crew on the search for some treasure. While his crew dig up the soil he offers his female companion a green shaped emerald. This causes a curse to come over her and this leads to the destruction of the crew but Blackbeard manages to escape. More on this situation later.

 Back on the waverider and as Ray and Nate try to come up with ways to obtain the remaining totems Ray says that Vixen's granddaughter has one of them that is being held by a man obsessed with researching it. Mick enters and says that Sara is going to Star City present day as she has a date with Ava (Agent Sharp) to which he thinks is really hot. So Sara goes on a date and all goes well until the Legends decide to go to Bahamas 1717 in order to acquire the Earth Totem in Blackbeard's possession. All this leads to Vixen becoming a fearsome pirate captain. With tales of her past ventures being told throughout the land she eventually overtakes Blackbeard in both hilarious and epic ways. Damien Darhk even shows up as the Admiral of the time period and takes Vixen's totem and tires to acquire the Earth Totem but to no avail as Ray and Nick come to the rescue and Ray shoots Nora with the gun he mentioned to Constantine a few weeks back. 
But I wouldn't be talking about the episode without mentioning Rip and Wally's scenes which are just brilliant. Rip gets really drunk and he leads Wally into some funny situations. Like pulling down Gary's (Time Agent) pants in the middle of a street. And also they both travel to 1992 Tokyo where they sing Careless Whisper by George Michael karaoke style. All this leads to Rip asking Wally does he want to be a legend as he never really fit on Team Flash. I can't wait to see Wally join the team soon. Hopefully he gets treated so much better on this show. The character is too awesome to just push to the side. The episode ends as Ray who feeling guilty over what he has done decides to make a cure for Nora and goes to save her leading her and Damien to take Ray out and it looks like they are gonna keep him hostage leading into next week's episode. I enjoyed this episode not as much as last week's obviously but it was still an enjoyable watch. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum eh Legends?

Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
