The Flash 4x12 : Honey I Shrunk Team Flash review


Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it

 Honey I Shrunk Team Flash is quite the unique title for an episode but with that being said it gave us one of the most weird yet brilliant episodes of The Flash ever in my opinion.  The episode begins at Joe's house as him and Cecil sort through some stuff for the baby. A minute or so passes and Cecil learns that she can now read minds (which is completely random and out of the blue) she reads Joe's mind a couple of times and throughout the episode she reads all other Team Flash members minds and it is actually pretty hilarious. Iris suggests she and Joe go to see Dr Finkel a returning character from earlier this season. As Caitlin does some tests on Cecil she tells her these powers are due to being pregnant and her still having dark matter in her brain from the first particle accelerator explosion and they might not be permanent. This whole part of the episode was a real treat and felt like something out of season 1 at times. 

 Onto Barry and as him Big Sir and a few other inmates are playing cards in prison he uses his powers to cheat and win much to the dismay of the others. Speaking of Big Sir we learn that he is in prison for something that he didn't even do. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time as he himself says to Barry. The real culprit is a meta who just so happen to arrive in Central City. He has the power to not only shrink people down to small sizes but buildings and other objects, which he does do. He shrinks all number of stuff down to mini sizes and adds them to his collection at his apartment. As Cisco Joe and Ralph pay him a visit Cisco and Ralph get shrunk by him and what ensues is absolutely hilarious. Mini Cisco and mini Ralph really were the highlight of this episode for me as the interaction between them and the rest of the team is just brilliant. Iris even steps on Ralph at one point thinking it was a piece of gum Caitlin has to peel him off her shoe which was absolutely hilarious. This episode really hit all the right points for me. Later Harry and Iris take on this meta who Cisco has named Dwarf Star and both him and Ralph are returned to their original size. Speaking of that meta we learn that he is the one who should be in prison instead of Big Sir as it was him who shot a guard while attempting to rob from Mercury Labs. Big Sir just happen to be in the area and thus he was framed.  Back onto Barry now and as he had earlier asked his friends to try and get a confession out of Dwarf Star to which the meta flat out refuses which means Big Sir is bound to stay in prison for the rest of his life but Barry ever the hero is not having this and one night as the cameras aren't looking he runs Big Sir all the way to a small village China he had mentioned earlier a village that was a place he'd love to just go and be in silence. Upon his return though the warden questions Barry about Big Sir's disappearing act and informs Barry that he knows that he is The Flash as he had placed a new camera right in front of Barry's cell and it caught everything. 

                                 
                                     
The episode ends as the warden drugs Barry and gives Amnuet a call telling her he has something that she will love. So next week Amunet returns once again. This episode was brilliant. It was hilarious at some points but also pretty serious at others. A perfect balance. This is Team Flash at it's absolute best!

A family who fight as we're shown the entire Knight family wrestling in small venues in Norwich. Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
