The Flash 4x8 : Crisis on Earth X (3) review


Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.

The 3rd part of the crossover begins practically right where the second part ended where all hero's are being held in a nazi prison camp and as they try to think of a way to escape and meet a new superhero named The Ray Captain Lance walks onto the site and while he isn't captain Lance here he is a no nonsense leader of the nazi force so I guess some things never change. Just as everyone is about to executed by soldiers Leonard Snart comes to the rescue of them all and his boyfriend the before mentioned Ray. Earth X's Snart is a whole lot of fun. Full of quick whips and just some hilarious moments he is my favorite character to come out of this crossover.

Back on Earth 1 and in Star Labs Felicity and Iris hatch a plan to fight back and try to rescue their friends who are all trapped in the pipeline as Eobard Thawne Earth X Oliver and Overgirl begin their plan to open Supergirl up and take her heart to place it in Overgirl's. Not before this of course Overgirl has her big evil villain monologue and it really reminded me of Superman and his regime from the injustice games and comics. Just everything from how she looked and talked. I guess in a way this crossover was really like Injustice in a lot of ways. The hero's from our earth's doubles rule over Earth X with iron fists. As Felicity and Iris further move throughout Star Labs they realize that they can't save Kara alone and send an SOS to the rest of the legends who didn't get a wedding invite.

Jax and stein have a really emotional moment and this is even more evident later given what happens towards the end of this part of the crossover and the beginning of the next but more on that later. As Eobard prepares to go to work on Kara she says that her cousin will find them and kill them all to which he responds that he fought Superman once in the future and that he might be fast but Eobard is faster. I really do wish Superman was involved in a crossover. I was hoping it would be this one but nope. There's always next year!

As the hero's are brought to The Ray and Snart's base of operations they find out about a gateway home to Earth 1 and hatch a plan to make their way back to their homeland. As Oliver goes undercover in the main base of operations where the gateway is he is tested by Lance in a bid to uncover if he really is the Oliver of Earth X or his double. He does so by bringing out a freshly forced under security Felicity who he orders Oliver to kill. He obviously doesn't do this and a big fight breaks out and in the midst of the chaos Professor Stein gets shot twice in a bad to turn on the gateway. That is how the episode ends and wow was this a really thrilling episode packed with action and lots of humor. The 4th and final part of the crossover beckons.

Florence Pugh stars as Saraya Knight a young girl from Norwich England. Her brother Zak Knight played by Jack Lowden has one dream. Of making it to the WWE and he will do anything to make it all possible. At it's core Fighting With My Family is exactly what the title says. A family who fight as we're shown the entire Knight family wrestling in small venues in Norwich. Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. He says various villains have taken over their own terrirtorys for example The Penguin has taken over Gotham City Hall, Scarecrow has his own little area, Mr Freeze and Firefly are at war with one ano...

Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
