The Flash 4x4 : Elongated journey into night review


Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.

 I have to start off this review by saying that this show really frustrates me sometimes. The fact that it can go from last week's complete failure of an episode to this episode which is brilliant funny and just a good time is beyond me. This episode feels like it belongs in season 1 of The Flash and not this what has arguably been a lackluster season thus far. It frustrates me because I know this show has the potential to blow all other DC shows away and it's just been at such a slow speed lately but after this it looks like it could be on the way back to greatness once again (here's hoping anyways)

 Onto the episode and it starts with Cisco and Gypsy having a night in and as Gypsy makes her way to the bathroom a breacher appears in the room and tries to strangle Cisco, we learn that this is Gypsy's father. A master breacher who is played brilliantly by Danny Trejo. The scenes him and Cisco share are genuinely hilarious and easily the highlights of the episode besides all the Elongated man stuff. 

 Speaking of the Elongated man turns out Barry and Joe know him from the CCPD. His name is Ralph Dibney and he used to work alongside Barry and Joe as a detective mainly during Barry's early days with the CCPD. Basically let go because it turned out he was a dirty cop he is now a private detective who we learn is blackmailing the Mayor of Central City after a guy named Devoe ( Yes the Thinker!) rings him up and tells him to do so. Later he tells Barry that the person's name was Devoe and Barry has flashbacks to last season when Devoe was name dropped by Savitar and Abra Ka-Dabra.

 This episodes is The Flash at it's absolute best and has risen my hopes for the rest of the season. It isn't perfect by any means but compared to what we've gotten this season it's pretty damn good. Honestly after last week I was already losing hope very quickly. More episodes like this and The Flash will be back to running at break-neck speed!

Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
