Legends Of Tomorrow 3x6 : Helen Hunt review


Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.

 The Legends are back for another quality episode and this week's starts as we are placed into Hollywood during the time period of 1937. We see a young starlet enter Warner Bros movie lot and right away gets a part in a big upcoming movie. The episode even starts with an old school Hollywood movie intro which was just a small touch but it really added so much to the episode it's things like that, that really matter at least to me. 

 Onto the episode now and the break-up of Firestorm begins as Ray tries to de-merge Stein and Jax and as it seems like all is going to plan there is a massive explosion which causes Jax and the professor to switch bodies. Each now fit with one another's personalities. This was absolutely hilarious and made for some series stand out moments. As the Legends discover the latest anachronism which just so happens to be the movie starlet that I mentioned earlier it's mission time to take her back to her original time period. 

 As they arrive they learn that there's an ongoing war between both WB studios and K&G studios who are both trying to lure this young starlet for their own benefit of course. Her name is Helen and yes you guessed it she's from the time period of Helen Of Troy. As the legends try to solve what's going on the professor's favorite actress growing up just so happens to be at a gala that is being thrown for Helen and he (in Jax's body) attempts to meet her and convince her to chase her dreams and become the actress that she is supposed to be. Special shout out to the absolutely hilarious line by Ray ''It's time to save Hollywood at least until the Kardashians arrive'' that line killed me. As the team get closer to their target they bump once again into Damien Dhark and he offers Sara a way out for both her and team. They obviously don't accept this and a fight once again breaks out to which Firestorm makes the save and turns both Jax and the professor back to normal in the process. 

 The end of the episode..I wouldn't be talking about this episode without mentioning the ending. As Zari figures out a loophole to put Helen back into a time period that isn't her own she places her in Themyscira. Yes! the home of not only the Amazon warrior's but also Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. That was a MASSIVE easter egg drop and a literal jaw dropping moment.

 I love this episode and I love this season of the Legends Of Tomorrow. It hasn't put a foot wrong yet and continues to beat every other CW show each and every week. Long live the Legends of Tomorrow!

Gotham 5x1 : Year Zero review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it Gotham finally returns for it's fifth and sadly last season and with a run of only 12 episodes there is a lot to get through and eventually wrap up. It begins on Day 391 of No Man's Land as the final battle for Gotham comes to a head as Captain Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Riddler and even Penguin all suit up and get loaded for combat as all men led by many more GCPD officers open fire from a top a massive wall as Jim Gordon says ''For Gotham'' this of course is going to be the end of the season but let's go all the way back to day 87 of No Man's Land where we see Gordon talking to someone on a radio. He explains the situation currently going on in Gotham. Superman & Lois 3x13 : What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger review

                Be warned there will be SP OILERS* inv olved in this review. With that being said let's get into it. Season 3 of Superman and Lois has come to and end in the most devastatingly epic way. The finale opens up with Sam Lane telling Lois and Clark that Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found. Clark adds more to this by saying he can't hear him either but Lois is not convinced after all Lex did literally threaten her at the end of last weeks episode. A meteor shower is planned for the evening right at the center of Smallville town so you just know something is going to go down then and as expected something major does go down but more on that a bit later. As the boys leave the house Lois tells Clark that she is ready to be intimate again and the two fly off to a private secluded area where they can be together for the first time since Lois had her breasts removed due to her cancer.
