Legends Of Tomorrow 3x5 : Return of the mack review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.

This week's episode begins in London 1895 as we see Rip investing an apparent death..by a Vampire. Skip right through to the team on board the wave rider and as Nate was up all night analyzing these so called anachronisms he forms a sort of pattern between them and notices that all but 2 are connected. One is in Zari's time period of 2042 and one in London 1895 where the news papers reports that a vampire is on the loose and hunting people down. So once again it is mission time to correct the anachronism and restore order.

This episode further proves why this show is the best DC show on TV at the moment. It's always funny, filled with action and the cast are always amazing sharing a unique and special bond. Some of the stuff that happens in this episode is just downright hilarious and honestly I'd expect nothing less anymore from the Legends. Special shout out to the return of the mack song actually playing as a fight sequence is going on.

We finally learn the big bad of the season and it is Mallus an ancient evil that even the time masters did not mention before their demise. He is voiced by John Noble (Scarecrow and Arkham Knight) and wow let me tell you that scene where he first speaks is both horrific and somewhat epic. No idea if he'll ever get a physical form this season yet but for now his voice is certainly enough to make all hairs stand on end. After this episode I'm definitely going to have to check up more on his background and what the whole character is about.

Nate ever the hero agrees to be bait for this so called vampire killer and he is kidnapped by Martin Stein? or is he? well yes he is but it is Martin's great great great great great grandfather. An actor who is helping bring back a body from the dead. Who's the body belong to? well it's...Damien Dhark. Yes! returning from last season he is brought back from the dead after help from a woman who appeared to talk to the dead a blood moon and Zari's totem. The scene where he comes back is really well done and the part where Mallus takes over the women's body was honestly scary. The episode ends as Rip Hunter who wanted back in with the Legends betrays them to try and stop Mallus once and for all, Sara tells the Time Bureau and he is suspended of all active duties from the organisation. Another week and another quality episode for the Legends. This show is on a breakneck speed and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
