Legends Of Tomorrow 3x4 : Phone home review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.

This week's episode starts as we see a young kid (Ray when he was young) running away from some agents. He manages to get away but eventually gets caught before it jumps back to modern day where Ray is trying to get the team to participate in team work challenges. He asks Mick to trust him and fall into his arms to which Mick agrees only for Ray to flat out disappear. This is caused by Ray's death in 1988. So as you can guess it's mission time to rescue little Ray.

The reason all this is happening of course is because little Ray has somehow managed to find and keep a baby dominator in his room. Yes the same Dominator's from last season's big crossover event. A nice throwback and it was good to see them once again. Little Ray feels all alone in the world and the only friend he has as he says is the Dominator who he calls Gumball. There's so many little references to E.T. in this episode and I loved it. Nate even says it's like E.T. which made me laugh a loud. As always this episode is hilarious once again and some of the one liners really do hit home each and every single time.

The team come to the rescue as little Ray is forced to give the baby dominator back to it's mother. To which they leave Earth once again and return home. Little Ray goes back home to his mom as the team set off once again. We learn that professor Stein has been sneaking off the ship to see his heavily pregnant daughter, later in the episode she actually has the baby which she names Ronnie. They don't say it's because of the first firestorm but it's obviously a little nod. The episode ends as Jax states to Ray that he wants his help as he wants to break Firestorm so Stein can go live with his family. I don't know how that'll work but I'm excited to see how.

All in all this was another quality episode and this series shows no sense of slowing down anytime soon. It's quick fresh and witty always. I really hope the Legends Of Tomorrow live for a long time to come!
