Arrow 6x7 : Thanksgiving review

Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.

This week's episode begins as Oliver and the SCPD are doing a food drive to help the less fortunate and they managed to get enough food to feed over 1200 families. As he says this Agent Watson surfaces with two members of her security detail and arrests Oliver right on the spot of once again accusing him of being The Green Arrow right in front of his son William who Oliver tells everything will be fine. Later as he is in court he is let out on bail of 5 million dollars which he of course pays off (no idea how but okay?)

Onto Diggle and as Curtis injects him with his new prototype everything seems to be working fine as he himself says that his tremor seems to be evaporating even if slowly. Of course is this short lived as Dig and the team are hot on the tail of Black Siren and Cayden James who once again return working together to steal some materials from certain companies. As the team try to stop them Diggle's body starts to break down and he is forced to go to Star City hospital where we learn he is suffering from with drawl from the drugs he had been using. He actually somehow also manages to further damage his nerves in his hand and shoulder.

Oliver returns to be the Green Arrow after what had seemed like forever away. It was so nice and refreshing to see him take up the mantle again. I like Diggle but let's be real he just isn't the Green Arrow. There is only one and it will always be Oliver Queen. As the team locate Cayden James as he puts his plan into motion he tells the Green Arrow why he is doing all this and it is because he blames him for his son's death. The team do recon and find practically no connection to them and Cayden's son. No idea what that was all about but I'm sure it'll make sense in the back half of the season.

The episode ends as Thea awakens from her coma and everyone enjoys a thanksgiving meal together. The crossover between all shows begins on Monday and I honestly can't wait to see and review them. Roll on Crisis On Earth X.
