Legends Of Tomorrow 3x3 : Zari review
Be warned there will be *SPOILERS* involved in this review. With that being said let's get into it.
The Legends return with yet another kickass episode. Can I just start off this review by saying that this show has been the most consistent of all the DC TV shows since Season 2 began. It's always fun, always entertaining and sometimes just down right hilarious. The other shows could learn a thing or two from this. Especially The Flash.
This week's episode starts off and we are in Seattle 2042 which has is practically run by a gone off the rails Argus who have put a anti meta human act in place since 2021. We see that water powered meta from last week return and kill a load of guards who are transporting a prisoner to the Argus base. Said prisoner is Zari a hacker and all around badass person who Mick right away takes a liking to when they meet. The legends head to Seattle and take her a board the wave rider where she tells them that her brother is being held captive by Argus. So of course it's rescue time. Included with probably the best easter egg I've seen this season from any show. Zari tells them they have to break into Argus's prison facility to rescue her brother complete with Mick saying ''So a Prison Break huh?? I'm in'' nice little nod to the show Prison Break that Dominic Purcell starred in.
Onto Nate he attempts to help Vixen overcome her troubles with her totem. Nick honestly steals the show in this episode ( as he always does in my opinion) by making a compound that him and Vixen drink, Vixen does overcome her totem troubles but he completely loses his mind and gets high off of it. Just some of things that he says are absolutely hilarious and he alone is the reason why this show is so damn funny sometimes. The comedic timing is spot on and the way the rest of the team interact with him is quality.
Zari lied to the team about her brother, she did have a brother but he was killed by Argus leaving behind him another ancient totem much like Vixen's. No idea what the power of it is yet though. Vixen actually is the one who convinces her to join the team rather than spend her life on the run from Argus. No idea what Zari will add to the team but I'm interested to find out. It's a win win either way because she's going to add another dynamic to the wave rider and that is never a bad thing.
This show is just amazing every single week and is hands down my favorite DC show right now. If you like your superhero shows filled with humor great action and just a sense of all round enjoyment go watch this!!
