  Blue Beetle is the latest DC hero to get the big screen treatment and for a first time attempt at bringing this character to the screen it is absolutely worth your time and attention. Blue Beetle follows a fresh out of college young man named Jaime Reyes who is very much connected with his family. His whole life is turned upside down however when an all powerful alien like tech named the Scarab falls into his possession which leads to him transforming into the titular hero the Blue Beetle. What follows is total chaos in a sequence that is full of energy just like our hero himself. It's a simple setup and it works really well throughout so much so that this even reduced me to tears on more than one occasions especially because of my love for DC and it's fascinating and gripping lore.  But it's not all emotional stuff here as the action scenes are really well done with a mix of CGI effortlessly laying under amazing and well thought out choreography as Jaime Reyes embraces h...

  From the mind of Seth Rogen comes a very different version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which is very much a origin story as the Turtle are indeed teenagers and it shows in both their actions and how they want to be hero's more than anything in the world. The story begins with a scientist who is responsible for creating a mysterious mutant creating green ooze that is heavily sought after by people who of course want to do harm with it. When said scientist flees his lab he leaves a vial of ooze behind that falls into the sewers which is wear the Turtles and a young Master Splinter just to happen to be at that time. Splinter ends up taking the four Turtles into his care and begins to train them but he tells them that the human world above is off limits.
